Thirst project
The Thirst Project are people who travel to different countries to talk about how in many countries, people don't have any access to clean water. They talk about what we can do to help the countries and tell us what kind of water they drink and show us all the impacts the water has on the people. The Thirst Project was born in a college, they are trying to make wells in places that don't have any access to clean water. But in order to make wells they need money and with the help of our donation, we can make it possible. The solution to this is clean water, this costs around 7,800 to 20,000 depending where it takes place.
Some of the countries that are being helped are Uganda and Kenya. we can help by donating and change or dollar bills. we might think a penny isn't worth anything but in places like Uganda, it matters. I raised my dollar by telling people about this situation and telling them what the money will be for. I don't think its fair that they don't have any clean water because here, we waste so much water and have enough to shower and drink clean water. Knowing that they have no access, is heartbreaking because they get so many diseases just by drinking that dirty water.
Some of the things you can develop from drinking the water are white spots on your body, worms that can grow up to 3 ft, and even death. I have never experienced not being able to have clean water. When i raised my dollar i told people about the situation. Knowing that that dollar can make a big difference makes me happy because when i find out about that well, i will be able to feel proud that i helped out.
